First day at Art Institute

Okay so today I had my first class (design fundamentals) and it was pretty.....calm XD. But that darn supply kit the size of a coffee table made me feel like I lost 2 kg along the way. I was just so surprised that most than half of class doesn't know how to draw....I mean....I see so many great artworks on DA and stuff..but I can't seem to have luck meeting people even on my level of drawing. I hope in my major class (animation) I'll meet at least one : P. Wonder what are we going to start out with. Thansk God I don't have to carry that thing with me tomorrow.
The only thing is...I don't like going home after dusk...gets pretty creepy..and like half an hour after I came home my mom went with the dog..and supposedly there was some...issue and from what I understood someone got killed....geez that's such a cheer up o.o .

Also please note that...well I don't wanna sound mean or anything, but I prefer more of equal quality work to be honest.

And as for people not knowing how to draw... welcome to art school.
I just say to check now so you can be sure your degree is backed up. I had to switch AI schools because I found out too late. T.T
