Well, staying alone in someone's house with a dog for 3 days would've been so much more fun and productive if I didn't get sick the first night. IT was rather cold and on the next day I was already sick. Sooooo instead of drawing and writing whole 3 days I ended up doing bit of writing and bit of drawing in the noon when I felt bit better. SUCKS! I still feel crappy and have hard time sleeping, but hopefully I'll get better soon.

You know, I still can't believe today's Christmas. Time flies so fast nowadays. I just miss all the excitement. Waiting for a month or two in impatience and all. Eh, I've grown to think of it as another ....regular day. Well, with the exception that I'll see my cousin. We only get to see each other once or twice a year, so yay to that.

Yes, the winter quarter is finally over and ALL my midterms are done. Thursday's the last day of school (and we won't be doing much). And what's better my art block is gone, my nightmares that I had for pretty much 4 weeks straight are also gone (stress related and always same topic) so I'll be going back to commissions and doodling. Don't know about coloring my own stuff since my wrist is acting up again. Actually, I don't really have big ideas for colored illustrations anyway right now, and I really want to draw more book related stuff from now on. Maybe not all the time, but more for sure. It would be fun to do some ustreaming too when I get some lineart done - perhaps one of the commissions I need to do.

I guess that's that. In other news I want to remind you guys that the Fanart for the underrated contest is slowly nearing end. You have until new year's eve to submit your work. Make sure to have a look at current entries as well ^^

First of all, I'd like to say it's been a busy, tiring week as we head toward the end of the fall quarter. Already signed up for new classes, and thank heavens I will not have to wake till 8 am. So the period of looking like a zombie is nearing its end as well. I also need to ask around for some internship and possibly some bigger freelance opportunities that school can help me with. Having to go to school in the days and hours I have to go it's not easy to find any sort of normal job. But hey, at least I got to do some decent art this month...for myself, and working out the book plot which is going along rather well. Do you remember that big tutorial I was planning on doing? Well, I sort of started that too. I think I will start with some character development tips and exercises first and then move onto more detailed stuff like anatomy...or perhaps merge the two together at least if it will be necessary.

For artsy stuff I think thats it.

In other news, I would like to mention my dear leopard gecko, Neon. He's been having health problems for quite a while. The medications seemed to help a little, but then there was a sudden drop and well...I was really unable to help him more. He's still in his tank. Not suffering anymore, at least. I just wish I could've done what really needed to be done in order to help him. I feel horrible for that reason and will not have another pet like that in the future unless I have lots of money for vets.

I'll miss you little fatso


And well....lastly, I was just wondering if you guys would like to share your birth dates with me. Sometimes I feel like doing a random gifty for someone's bday, but I don't have that many people on the list.
