heh i've seen something like that a while ago on some random journal and thought...hmm...good idea.

So, to be frank, there's about 600 people watching me....On average I get more or less 300 views on my stuff (not counting obviously popular fanart stuff such as saphira which just boosts up the average) About 12-40 comments per piece and bit more favs. (Now...I'm not complaining)

I just wanna see, how many people actually are my 'friends' in here.

If you are my friend. (Not someone who never said a word and all of a sudden considers himself to be one) Leave a comment on here, it may be really random. I just wanna know if you do pay attention

again, pure curiosity, for fun and out of total boredom while trying to work on concept art : )

Yes, my summer quarter is now finished. I'm on my 10 day break and rejoiced that I have no more projects to finish for some time. I'll be taking history of western art, life drawing and 3d modeling. Also I'm trying not to flip out about surprise bills since I double checked with my school that I won't have to pay for anything. So I hope there won't be any displeasures here, mainly since I almost got enough money put aside to buy a musical instrument I've been thinking of getting for past year. But of course with my school it was rather hard.

It's really hard to make up your mind on which kind of the same instrument you want having almost no money, and them being around 100-300$ range ^^'. And don't think I'm rich, I've been tightening the belt ALOT. No materialistic comforts for me. And the fact I've been putting off my barber visit for half a year or so ^^'. And it DOES look horrible if you have colored hair.

But yea, I'm hoping to get away from the rock bottom in near future.

CONTEST I haven't really gotten many messages from those who wanted to participate in the beginning, so I'm not sure if I'll be doing this or not. I don't even know how many people read this journal : P let it alone comment. But if there will be more than 6 participants I'll let it slide.

This week I've become a U.S citizen *throws confetti and cheers sarcastically* but it doesn't feel any special XD. At least things may get a LITTLE bit easier for me. The funny thing is that the entire animation class already knew. So I come in to the class and get congrats from 2-3 people, saying "I assume everyone knows?" I didn't get much of a reply there, but after my teacher came, the first thing he did was to congratulate, and then announced it to entire class, ending with "One of us, one of us." and of course entire class repeated few times in this creepy way. Sigh, I love my animation class.

BUT! This is the last week so I have really, alot to do. Perhaps 100 more frames for my final cartoon for that one, and for my characterization class I need to finish a sculpey bust, expression and action sheet. I might go down to school on sunday to finish animation and record my reel. Hopefully I'll manage to put it on a cd later on in quicktime format and upload it here : ).

So yea, forgive me if I'm slow on commissions and stuff right now.
I haven't even been able to draw for myself this month. I do have one of two things that may turn later on into a color cg picture, but for now I guess I might finish something I started to color with crayons. (It's been so long since I even touched them)

I'll have a week or bit more off after 27th so we'll see what I can do over that time

It's been for a while that whatever piece of technology I'm near at, it just fails me. Over last year my headphones have just stopped working, my pc monitor had to be replaced, something in the pc just broke down after a minor storm ( i think that was the reason. Where the fan would go off but nothing else, no beeps, nothing on the screen). For a few months I'm in need of a new laptop battery because that one dies after 20 minutes, so I have to keep it on plug all the time. It hasn't been so long since I had it either, either after of before Christmass.

And the NEXT problem I have now, may be a driver thing. I got a wireless keyboard and mouse in december and in march or so the mouse began to glitch sometimes. Now, however, it's been so bad I had to click fiercely 15 times on something to work, so I switched back to the one with wire and it's the same thing. Keyboard spazzez out sometimes as well. For now it's been fine, but it's just a matter of time.

Now for the worst thing....I've been using my tablet pretty much as a mouse (games, browsing etc) I open my photoshop because I wanted to finish up a trade and turns out that the pressure is so low on it I can barely draw. I went to properties to fix it but it doesn't change. I have no idea what in the heck is going on but I'm hoping to get the guy who put this pc together (AGAIN) and have him look into it.

I am really, really depressed because whenever I earn a bit of money which I wanna put away if I need it, (or now in this case I'm TRYING hard to get about spare 200 for something I've been really, really wanting for long time and well, I just can't. I have to put away my barber visit, I can't get myself new pair of pants....nothing. Yeah I know I just turned this journal into a rant, but this really bugs me. Over past year I just had emergency spendings....like when my school screwed me over and I had to pay 250$ (and mind you that I dont work)


So yeah, I'm sorry but it may be a while since I upload something in color : (...or anything big on that matter. Perhaps I'll be able to work on something traditional on my break which starts 27th.

But yeah, other than that I really feel like something's onto me.


BTW: anyone going to celtic fest in Chicago by any chance this weekend?

Since I got into that rythm of constant drawing I was thinking I could also do somekind of cheap sketch/clean lineart commissions for 10$ a piece- waist up and whole body.

Heh yeah go figure, and I was pondering over 2012 XD. Anyway, I'm sure some of you have heard the deal about the hardon propeler/collider.

Some sceptics are really worried that if it is turned on it'll create black holes and pretty much everything will go....boom.

I have no idea how much of this is true, and since none of the recent 'End of the World's' ever happened, AND because I'm nowhere near to being a scientist I just hang between yes and no.

BUT *suspense music....heh* if it does go wrong I just wanna let you all know that I enjoyed your company...and it sucks that I might not finish my book and all the stuff I wanted to do.

If it goes RIGHT...maybe we'll have some new dimentions...not sure what was that tihng about anymore. I've read like 3 articles.

XD see ya after wendnesday....and hopefully longer.

(Maybe I'll get to finish some sketch commissions before then)
