Art Lottery

First of all, I'd like to say it's been a busy, tiring week as we head toward the end of the fall quarter. Already signed up for new classes, and thank heavens I will not have to wake till 8 am. So the period of looking like a zombie is nearing its end as well. I also need to ask around for some internship and possibly some bigger freelance opportunities that school can help me with. Having to go to school in the days and hours I have to go it's not easy to find any sort of normal job. But hey, at least I got to do some decent art this month...for myself, and working out the book plot which is going along rather well. Do you remember that big tutorial I was planning on doing? Well, I sort of started that too. I think I will start with some character development tips and exercises first and then move onto more detailed stuff like anatomy...or perhaps merge the two together at least if it will be necessary.

For artsy stuff I think thats it.

In other news, I would like to mention my dear leopard gecko, Neon. He's been having health problems for quite a while. The medications seemed to help a little, but then there was a sudden drop and well...I was really unable to help him more. He's still in his tank. Not suffering anymore, at least. I just wish I could've done what really needed to be done in order to help him. I feel horrible for that reason and will not have another pet like that in the future unless I have lots of money for vets.

And well....lastly, I was just wondering if you guys would like to share your birth dates with me. Sometimes I feel like doing a random gifty for someone's bday, but I don't have that many people on the list.
